QUIET AMERICAN SKIES CO-CHAIR

Maria Becce is Chairperson of the LaGuardia Committee and Co-chairperson of the New York Community Aviation Roundtable (NYCAR). She represents Congresswoman Grace Meng (D-NY 6th District) as a constituent volunteer on the New York Community Aviation Roundtable (NYCAR) and serves as First Vice-Chairperson of its LaGuardia Airport Committee.  She has lived in the historic neighborhood of Broadway-Flushing, Queens, New York, for more than forty years. Her residential community was among several negatively impacted following the unannounced implementation of Performance Based Navigation procedures to deconflict the airspace between LaGuardia and Kennedy Airports.
