MICHAEL OSBORNE

Michael T. Osborne, MD is a cardiologist and the Associate Director of Nuclear Cardiology: Education at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He completed undergraduate school at Vanderbilt University with a major in biomedical engineering, medical school at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, internal medicine residency and nuclear cardiology training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and cardiology and research fellowships at MGH.

Dr. Osborne’s research focuses on using advanced imaging to elucidate underlying pathophysiological mechanisms with a primary interest in evaluating the neuroimmune pathways linking chronic psychosocial and environmental stress (including noise exposure) to cardiovascular and metabolic disease and assessing the impact of interventions on these pathways.
